Headlight Detailing

Restore Your Cloudy, Foggy, Yellowed Plastic Headlights to Like-New Condition.

Everyday they're on the street. They're a sore sight during the day and they hinder sight at night.

"An average of 9 out of every 10 cars on the road today has dirty or yellowed headlights that greatly reduce vision and need to be replaced, cleaned, and/or repaired." -AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.

"Your night vision can be reduced by as much as 90% by dirty headlights.

"Clean the headlights or have them professionally restored and repaired. Dirty headlights will decrease visibility by as much as 90%." - New York Broome County Police Traffic Division's Traffic Safety Team.

So it is obvious that it is vitally important to have clean, functional headlights. Headlight replacement was the only option available until recently. We have  the products to clean, restore and even repair worn headlights. Even cracked, leaking headlights can be repaired.(as long as the lens is not cracked)

Why did my headlights turn yellow?

The cause of the yellowing is constant exposure to damaging sunlight, air pollution, dust, and other contaminants. Over time, these elements can wreak havoc on the plastic headlight lenses of most modern cars and trucks. (You may have noticed that older cars with glass headlight lenses never seem to have this problem.) The good news is that the damage to these plastic lenses is usually only surface deep, and with a little bit of work, the empowered car owner can have his or her headlights back to a sparkling shine in no time

FAQ's

Can we paint the chrome part on my headlight to black? Answer is yes of course as long as we are not painting the reflectors

If my reflector's chrome color is already fading, do i need to replace the headlight? or can you paint it with chrome color? Good luck with painting it with chrome color, Its just a waste of money and effort. but check your reflector first maybe its just covered with a little stain and the chrome color is still there unless its obvious it already faded there's no way you can paint that with chrome paint and expect it to be as shiny as it used to be. It's just gonna end up with silver color. If the 30% of the chrome on the upper portion of the reflector is gone! Get a new headlight or install a set of bolt-on projectors it would give you the added looks plus better visibility than your stock bulbs and headlight. A good vison of the road. Even during rainy days
